Yes, misogyny is a symptom of or the exclusive territory of *white* men... no men of any non-white race have ever been guilty of or known for engaging in misogyny.
I can't even speak to how misogynistic I think Riedel has been with female actors before ... but I do know that we don't know what he would have said about Beanie, but that he or anyone, male or female, criticizing a female performer does not automatically categorize it as misogyny. And I'm not sure what him being white has to do with it. Do you actually it takes being white to be misogynistic or to feel empowered to write with it in print? Come on. Maybe you do think that gossip, or gossiping for pay is the kind of thing only a white person would do, and that misogyny is going to be inherent in gossiping or selling papers on what you say about Beanie ... but I think you're jumping to some easy conclusions that are not worthwhile.
