| I don't think PBS broadcast the performance live from the Vivian Beaumont. I assume the show was taped live (obviously) and then broadcast at a later date. Samonsky seemed very sincere and admitted he gave a bad performance. He may have meant that he had never acted in a show that was being taped and was not given any rehearsal or direction on how to adapt his portrayal accordingly. |
