I understand your point, but the cast & crew of “Company” undergo a rigorous COVID testing procedure. They are able to be maskless there is (more or less) a guarantee that the company members aren’t spreading the virus. My fiancé is working in a pre-Broadway workshop currently, and the entire company is tested 3x/ week.
The same cannot be said for audience members, vaccinated or not, thus masks are required.
