It's an incredible movie, but 30 minutes too long

I saw the movie, I loved it, but as we get into the back half, there's not much plot and it becomes more and more of an impressionistic indie movie in a Blockbuster's clothing. I was there for that, but my goodness, it's unquestionably a half hour too long to be the mainstream success Warners was aiming for.

It's also the first movie in a long time that I've genuinely considered going back and seeing again. It really is that good as a piece of filmmaking, and I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes an awards darling.
