Had a brief run off-Broadway back in '61. The cast recording is getting released on CD shortly. Apparently it had developed something of a cult following with luminaries like Sondheim, Jerome Robbins, Leonard Bernstein, Hal Prince, and Eleanor Roosevelt traipsing down to 1 Sheridan Square to catch it before it closed. Kenneth Nelson (post-The Fantasticks and pre-The Boys in the Band) and Jerry Dodge (pre-Hello, Dolly! were in it. Anyone here see it or know anything about it? It was recorded but never released commercially until now.
