That was the most baffling sentence in the entire column, and he must know that it’s complete BS because he didn’t actually name any names. The only person that comes to mind is the disastrous Kevin Spacey year, but that was more because Spacey is neither a good host nor a song and dance man (and it was just gross seeing him in his underwear, as by then his behavior was an open secret). Otherwise, the show has been well hosted by Broadway professionals who also have a connection to more mainstream entertainment.

More Green nonsense; it’s really sad to see what’s happened to him since he started working there. He seems to be taking over Brantley’s position as the pompous, clueless narcissistic.
