I also was there working for the theatre at the time. The Quaids were horrendous to deal with on all levels. The creatives eventually had to stop all work on the show and were forbidden by the producers to tell the cast what was going on behind the scenes. I would guess this was due to fear of lawsuits from the Quaids who were known to be very litigious people. I read somewhere at the time they had sued the Brokeback Mountain production over something. It was a shame as the show was a crowd pleaser for sure and our audiences had a great time, even in its "frozen" stage.
