One of the songs in THE FAN contains one of my favorite lyrics (although I don't think it's considered a "perfect" rhyme). Context: For you young ones out there, there were gasoline shortages in the mid/late 1970s in the USA. At least in California, you could only buy gas for your car only on certain days ("which" days was tied to your license plate #). The whole situation was often referred to as "the energy crisis".
