Hi ryhog - I only mentioned British Equity because someone above asked would it be better for all actors belonged to the same union, so I was answering to say that in the UK they do - and it does work better, IMHO, The regional theatre contract has one other addon, if you record a LORT production. In addition to SAG AFTRA each member gets one week extra LORT salary. On Broadway, in addition to SAG AFTRA rate, for recording AEA members get the Production Contract minimum, pro rated, for each day of recording. The rule is a little badly worded - so it actually may mean that they get one week's minimum AEA salary if one records,
