Is there really some RULE that the name of the playwright(for only revivals or even new works?)cannot be mentioned if (s)he is deceased?! Nobody is necessarily demanding that there be a medal available for a deceased person. But that the name of the writer, in this case Harold Pinter!, not be mentioned is, to me at least, beyond belief.
If this is more than the error of the Tonys public relations people, then it is beyond my comprehension that anyone, no matter how ardent a theater lover, can take the Tonys seriously.
