Could Broadway afford to have shows with half or a third of the seats filled? I think someone posted here that a 75% audience on Broadway is usually around break even.
Granted not all London shows are reduced audience but all distanced. Six had a clever model of moving the show to a bigger theater which might well work for them there in the short term. |
