I don't think Handke and Jellinek are primarily playwrights, although they've written plays--I saw Handke's The Hour We Knew Nothing of Each Other, but it's hardly as well-known as Arcadia, and I can't remember anything about it. I think they are the ones who are not at Stoppard's level, but Churchill is certainly a viable candidate |
