Sightline description: J 13 is the very last row of the balcony, which is understandably steep and high. As with this type of configuration, if someone in front of you leans forward, it causes a domino effect amongst those sitting behind that person. Some of the action near the front of the stage was blocked by heads. The Shubert's balcony has support posts which can slightly block the view. My seat was not affected by the posts, but a few seats over to the left, I would have been looking around the posts.

Seating description: Seats are a little tight. Might be a problem for one with long legs.

Sightline description: Do not sit here! You miss 1/3 of the stage (at least) and the overhang is a problem too. The question of how they have the nerve to charge $110 for these seats is only exceeded by why I was that stupid to actually pay this much!

Sightline description: missed some of the staging on the house left side, as well as the opening scene all of the action of the house left stage right side was not able to be seen. There were still four seats to our left and if I had been in those I would have been very disappointed.

Sightline description: I missed some of the stage left scenery, but none of the action. I wouldn't want to be much more to the right of where I was sitting, the set extends in front of the proscenium arch blocking the view for the audience sitting on the sides.
Seating comfort:
Seating description: Comfortable seats, but the rows are very close together. My legroom was fine (I'm 5' 10"). Extremely tight getting in and out of the row.

Sightline description: The only thing you miss is the business in the audience toward the end of the show - that went completely unseen, and of course everyone in the mezz leans forward trying to see it, making the situation worse. But it's a short bit.
Seating comfort:
Seating description: Very little legroom. I don't have long legs, so I was fine, but I suspect that some of the taller audience members were pretty uncomfortable.

Sightline description: Though we missed a few things that are projected, we could see the action onstage very well. We also didn't see the cast during a reprise at the end of the show, because people remained standing after the bows were completed and any view of the stage was blocked.

Rush Policy Experience: My friend got to the theatre at 7am and was 9th in line. We were told that, depending on availability, betweeen 20-24 SRO tickets are sold each performance.
Standing Room Experience: Very positive. At one point, the ushers advised us not to back up because actors would be running behind us, but that was the only disruption we experienced.

Sightline description: I could see all of the actors, though they placed their equipment right next to where my friend was, so she sometimes had to shift, but that is the beauty of standing room! The one thing we could not see were the tops of projections that they had on a large screen, and anything high (like the characters in the castles on the sides) because the mezzanine came down.

Standing Room Experience: I got there with my friend at 6:30 that Saturday morning and we were the second group in line. I have no idea how many people were there by the time the box office opened at 10, but I remember the guy telling everyone that they should be fine, though I don't think that was the case in the end. It was generally a good experience, except during intermissions and before the show people kept standing in our "seats" or pushing past us.
