I'm interested in Of Human Bondage because I was Assistant Director for Robert Breen's Chamber Theatre production of it the year he retired at Northwestern--it was a splendid experience! Breen ended with the death of Mildred--his use of the narration (in the embodied narrator) was so satisfying and he and his wife played he Uncle and Aunt. I gather this production is more a traditional dramatization, hence more room and time for dramatic incident.
