Bastard Jones - Super Enjoyable

A post-modern, meta, slightly groanworthy but thoroughly enjoyable musical riff on "Tom Jones" playing in the tiny space at The Cell.

I had fun. There's a really great half hour in Act 2 where the pieces come together, and Crystal Lucas-Perry has a fabulous number just after intermission that brings down the roof. The rest is good; the beginning could go faster, the middle could be more complex, and the ending could work, but it has tremendous potential, should a smart theater pick them up and run with it.
