Both projects took almost a decade to get to the final version.

I also had looked at Grammy winners vs Tony winning best musical and only about half the time the show wins both. Of course the period of eligibility is different ( Grammy being calendar and Tony May to May) but a surprising number of revival cast recordings have won like color purple over new musical like waitress. Hamilton won the year before. Beautiful over gentlemans guide And wicked over ave q. And Aida wasn't even nominated for best musical. So there is not a guarantee they would win the Grammy with hello dolly, comet and the other dozen cast recordings released recently.
